Replace starter, fix leak in tire. Good service overall, but charged $30 to fix a leaky tire. They replaced the valve stem, but as I determined later, the leak was out the side of the tire. So they did a poor job of diagnosing the leak in the tire and didn't actually fix it.

They were very apologetic and even paid for the oil change. I was greatly disappointed although, appreciated the honesty. I would absolutely return. My daughter's car had a small leak, which we believe originated in the air conditioning unit. After two days of diligence in trying to discover the source, Marc's was unable to do so. It may have to do with the freezing temperatures. However....they didn't charge my daughter a dime because in their words, they didn't do anything. I was disappointed the leak wasn't found, but happily impressed they didn't charge a young lady anything (even though they had a lot of time invested in the search). I'm confident that the leak will be found in the spring. Marc's is a business with integrity and I highly recommend them!

Marc's garage insisted on offering a courtesy car so they could repeatedly test our car until they could ensure what the problem was. We were given a price estimate that was accurate to the actual repair cost, although a little more than what I wanted to pay it included borrowing a car for three weeks for no cost, so no complaints here. It's very convenient that I can set up an appointment through text if needed as I have to be on the phone all day for work. Their towing service is quick and convenient! I love how once the inspection is done a text is sent with a link to my cars current state of health. There is rating system from green to red and each category also has an explanation which helps me to understand the severity of any work needing to be done. These guys are amazing! Beyond being professional and good at what they do, they are friendly and caring. I got my car stuck on a big decorative rock and they came to my help literally in 5 minutes. The rock was stuck against my transmission so it wasn't as simple as just towing my car off the rock. My kids were in the car and I was super upset because we had just made a deal to sell the car. Not only did they carefully (and cleverly) unstick my car without any damage to the transmission they helped calm me down. On top of that, even though their schedule was super booked they squeezed my car in later that day to make sure there was no damage. They went above and beyond and I was super appreciative. Recently went to Marc's Garage for an issue with a turbocharger. VW dealer said "you need a new turbo" after engine light came on. Gave an estimate of $3000. I decided to take it somewhere else for anothrer opinion and after a lot of research decided on Marc's. Dave took care of us. He said he would look into it and estimated a new turbo at $2500. After a bit he called and said that there was a part on the on the turbo that could account for all the issues we were having. Long story short, put in the new part and car runs like a top all for $700 bucks. This is the way that repairing a car should be done, properly diagnosing the problem and replacing the malfunctioning part and not replacing the large unit that contains the part. Kudos to Marc's for looking at and diagnosing the problem like real mechanics and not just replacing whole units. Special thanks to Dave who spearheaded the job. I might add I recieved a follow-up phone call, email, and today a handwritten card from Marc's asking how the car is running and thanking us for our patronage. I'm sold, Marc's has got my support and future business.

I recently had an unfortunate accident and ran into a full-sized truck tire that was lying in the center of an interstate on-ramp. My vehicle's airbags deployed and I pulled over to call for roadside assistance. My insurance company sent Marc to tow my car and I was blown away by his service. Upon arriving, he cared enough to ask me if I was alright. He told me not to worry about the car and that he would take care of everything (including the tire wedged under it). I jumped into my wife's car and rushed off to work. Marc later texted me numerous pictures of the damage to my vehicle, which was really nice to have for insurance purposes. He then made sure everything was out of my vehicle - including my ipass and license plates before it was transferred to a salvage lot (totaled), and was nice enough to meet me at his shop on a Saturday morning so I could pick the items up. Outstanding Guy. Outstanding service. If I lived closer to Cambridge, I would definitely take my vehicle to Marc's shop for servicing! I highly recommend Marc's Garage and Rockdale Towing.

Worth the wait! You will never deal with better humans. They are so honest! They never take advantage and keep you up to speed every step of the way. They even sent me a full detail (IN A TEXT! How cool is THAT?!) of each item that would need to be repaired to bring the vehicle up to speed and then went through what was most important to do first to keep me and my boys safe. Marc has a staff that not only knows their stuff but they are friendly and actually get to know you and the vehicle(s) you drive. The reason I go to Marc's Garage is because I was referred to by by a friend. Others had told me that our Honda Pilot absolutely positively needed a new transmission. Marc and his staff were not as eager to jump the gun and just charged me $4,000+ to put in a new transmission. They did much testing of the vehicle, which included numerous test drives and other diagnostic work before they declared how to resolve the issue in a most affordable way. Now, when I get work done on my vehicles, I enjoy the luxury of knowing it is being done the right way, with my pocketbook in mind. AND, I get to enjoy a nice cup of cappuccino if I need to wait. If it's going to be a while, they have "loaner" cars I can use. Great place to get work done on your vehicles. Highly recommend.

This is a nice shop that does good quality work. I brought my truck in for a routine tune up and they pointed out a few other issues that they thought might need some attention in the near future but were not worth fixing at this time. The truck has been running better and starts easier in the cold since the tune up and I'll be taking it back there if I ever have any problems. They were fast, extremely nice, and not pushy at all about additional services.
