Recently went to Marc's Garage for an issue with a turbocharger. VW dealer said "you need a new turbo" after engine light came on. Gave an estimate of $3000. I decided to take it somewhere else for anothrer opinion and after a lot of research decided on Marc's. Dave took care of us. He said he would look into it and estimated a new turbo at $2500. After a bit he called and said that there was a part on the on the turbo that could account for all the issues we were having. Long story short, put in the new part and car runs like a top all for $700 bucks. This is the way that repairing a car should be done, properly diagnosing the problem and replacing the malfunctioning part and not replacing the large unit that contains the part. Kudos to Marc's for looking at and diagnosing the problem like real mechanics and not just replacing whole units. Special thanks to Dave who spearheaded the job. I might add I recieved a follow-up phone call, email, and today a handwritten card from Marc's asking how the car is running and thanking us for our patronage. I'm sold, Marc's has got my support and future business.
Thanks very much for taking the time to leave the review and very happy we were able to solve the problem for you on your volkswagen , look forward to the next visit with us , Marc
