Marc’s Garage Cambridge, WI
Marc started Marc's Garage in November 1995. He earned his degree as an Automotive Technician at MATC and worked for a few years before deciding to branch out on his own. He was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to start a business in the barn at his parent's house. After 8 years at that location, he outgrew the barn that he was working in and branched to his current location. Marc specialized in multi-tasking and is also the Jack of all Trades. One day you might catch him working in the shop on cars, working at the counter, towing, or working on the day to day operation duties, with his wife, Kristi. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three kids, Spencer, Jordyn, and Samantha. You can often find him at one of his kids activities such as soccer, swimming, track, or basketball. He also enjoys golfing, camping, swimming, and simply spending time with family and friends.
Kristi is behind the scenes at Marc's Garage handling books and paperwork. She tries to keep everyone on their toes but that's not an easy task for this crew! She is known to provide a lunch meal or two and provides birthday treats at the employees choice of treat on their birthday. Kristi is married to Marc and together they have three children, Spencer, Jordyn, and Samantha. Kristi has a passion for running and just recently learned how to swim. She enjoys running, strength training, swimming, camping, playing card games, and just spending quality time with friends and family.
Frank comes to us with many years experience in the service aspect of the automotive industry. He lives in Fort Atkinson with his wife Anna and two charming daughters, Lilly and Chloe. When he is not at work, he enjoys attending Wisconsin sporting events such as a good Packers, Badgers, or Brewers game. You may also spot him at dance class with his daughter Lilly or just spending quality time with his family.
The thing Frank likes most about Marc's Garage is the family atmosphere.
Ryan has been with us since October, 2003 and has become a staple in our shop. He has been an automotive technician over the many years of dedication to our company. In his free time, you can find him camping, hunting, and four-wheeling. Outside of work, you will find him with his soon to be wife and four kids.
Jason has been with Marc’s since August of 2015 as an Automotive Technician. If he was not an auto tech, he would love to be a doctor because he enjoys helping people which also makes him a great tech to have on our team. This is what he enjoys most about working here. Outside of work, Jason spends many weekends at the race track as “The Thomanator” or working on his car, #6! He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, their three children, Marcus, Matthew, Megan and their family golden retriever, Mia. Jason and his family love to go camping/traveling on their off weekends.
Angel started with Marc's Garage in March, 2018 from a shop in Watertown. If he was not working as an automotive technician he would likely be a computer technician. Angel says his favorite part about working at Marc’s are his co-workers and the fun atmosphere. Outside of work, you can find Angel hanging out with his wife, Amber and their two sons who are involved in multiple sports, including football, basketball, and of all through summer at the baseball diamond!
Paul started at Marc’s in September of 2017, coming from a shop in Fort Atkinson. He earned his automotive degree from MATC but took time away from that (20 years) to pursue construction. Paul said that if he was not an automotive tech he would like to be a carpenter. The part he enjoys most about working at Marcs is that it is family-oriented and enjoys the people he gets to work with every day. Outside of work you can find him at a local race track or watching or watching his kids at archery or at the baseball diamond.
Josh aka "Sharpee" has been with our shop since December of 2016 or in his own words 1,704,960 minutes and counting, coming here from a shop in Edgerton. He has a degree as a heavy duty diesel mechanic as well as an agricultural mechanic degree. When asked what his favorite part about working at Marc’s.....Kristi’s home cooked meals!. If he was not working in our shop you would find him managing a farm of his own growing hay or tobacco. In his free time, he enjoys snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and tinkering with his own vehicles.
Nelson joined the Rockdale Towing portion of our business in July 2014 as a towing operator. When asked what he would want to do if he was not a towing operator he said he would want to be a very affluent angel investor and work helping the less fortunate. Nelson enjoys the family oriented business style of working at Marc’s as well as Kristi’s weekly home cooked meals. Outside of work you can find him rooting for the University of Georgia Bull Dogs, riding his Harley with his wife, spending time with his wife, dog, and 10 chickens/ducks. He also enjoys attending Stateline Rally Cross and Subaru Fly Fest. P.S. Nelson and his wife, Whitney are expecting their first born in July 2020.
When he is not on the family farm, you can find Adam in the tow truck. Adam is one of our part- time tow truck drivers who fills in on the weekends and whenever he can. He always has a friendly face and lives by mom’s motto, “Work hard for what you want”. You can also find him on a fire truck volunteering for the Lake Mills Fire Department. Adam is married to Amy and together they have two children, Emma and Braydon. He loves to take things apart and put them back together again, hunt, 4 wheel and go camping.
